Dr. Caleb Fleming is a distinguished urologist with a career spanning several decades. His career is marked by significant contributions to the field of urology and a deep commitment to patient care. His most recent role was at Lakeshore Urology, where he was a urologist from 2013 to 2025. During his tenure, Dr. Fleming's practice was recognized as the first center of excellence for green light lasers by Boston Scientific in 2020, underscoring his expertise and leadership in advanced medical technologies.

Dr. Fleming spent the first 17 years of his career in academic medicine working for the Henry Ford Health System where he acquired his robotic surgery skills at the time robotic prostate surgery was being developed under the mentorship of Dr. Manny Menon. This training allowing Dr. Fleming to acquire skills that would define much of his later career. He also had an interest in male factor infertility and worked closely with reproductive endocrinologists. In November 2004, Dr. Fleming's section in Urologic Clinics of North America on robotic vasectomy reversal was published.

In 2006 and for the next 18 years, Dr. Fleming worked in private practice, first at Westshore Urology in Muskegon, MI and then, in 2013 he opened a general urology solo practice in Grand Haven, MI until 2025.

Dr. Fleming's dedication to serving veterans is evident through his locum tenens work at Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center from 1999 to 2005. He managed his schedule meticulously to visit the facility multiple times each year, providing specialized care to veterans and earning three honor coins from special forces veterans for his compassionate treatment of their cancer.

He served at North Ottawa Community hospital in Grand Haven, MI as Chief of Surgery in 2015 and Chief of Staff in 2016.

His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree from Kalamazoo College, where an orientation program modeled after Outward Bound profoundly influenced his approach to professional challenges. He earned his MD and completed his residency at Wayne State University in 1989, laying a strong foundation for his medical career. Dr. Fleming is an active member of the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements.

In addition to his professional achievements, the Consumer Research Council of America recognized Dr. Fleming as one of America's top physicians in 2006. He is also involved with Shriners International, demonstrating his dedication to civic-minded organizations and community service.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Fleming cherishes spending time with his family, including his children Holly Webb, Caitlin Fleming, and stepson Joseph Hughes. He enjoys downhill skiing and values teaching critical thinking skills to his grandchildren, fostering their independence and empowerment. A memorable experience with his granddaughter involved teaching her how to drive in snowy conditions, creating cherished memories while imparting valuable life skills.
