Additionally, he specializes in real estate, particularly in the preparation of deeds, and frequently engages in oil and gas construction work.

With the assistance of one paralegal, Mr. Freshwater effectively manages the entire firm. His daily responsibilities include reviewing caseloads, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and managing the legal and administrative aspects of his firm. Despite his efforts to manage time efficiently, he often stays late to address additional administrative duties, ensuring that the firm continues to run smoothly.

Before founding his firm, Mr. Freshwater spent seven years as an associate at Hrbacek Law Firm P.C., where he honed his skills in litigation. His tenure there ended when the firm's owner pursued a judgeship, leading to its closure. From 2010 to 2015, Mr. Freshwater worked at Caldwell Everson PLLC. This role marked his first legal position after law school and provided him with invaluable experience under the guidance of a head partner who was an expert in drug testing. The firm collaborated with clients such as Quest Diagnostics and conducted extensive multistate research.

Mr. Freshwater began his legal career as a law clerk at Judith Brokaw and Associates from 2009 to 2011. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for his future success. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, earning him recognition as the Best Civil Litigation Attorney.

Mr. Freshwater received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Auburn University in 2005 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009. These educational achievements have shaped his legal acumen and contributed significantly to his professional accomplishments.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Freshwater is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce He also sponsors his children's softball teams through his firm, fosters puppies with Pup Squad Animal Rescue, and supports Legacy 685, an adoption resource group.

As the father of an adopted child, Mr. Freshwater is especially proud of his work with Oak Forest Closet, which was founded by some of his friends who have also adopted children. The organization provides free goods and services for foster families in the area, offering clothing and various necessities to support them. Mr. Freshwater has aided Oak Forest Closet by drafting their bylaws, addressing their legal questions and helping them manage the corporate and nonprofit aspects of their operations.

Mr. Freshwater attributes his success to his work ethic and interpersonal skills. He values diverse perspectives and actively seeks input to help his firm grow. Despite facing challenges, he remains determined, working hard and keeping an open mind as he explores opportunities to expand his practice.

Mr. Freshwater is a devoted husband to his wife, a project manager at Burns & McDonell, and a loving father to three. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching his children play softball and running with his wife. The two run the Houston Marathon yearly and have also completed the New York Marathon and DC Marathon.

Looking ahead, Mr. Freshwater envisions expanding his law firm to include additional associates and broadening his nonprofit outreach efforts. He is passionate about establishing an adoption wing within his practice to assist individuals with the adoption process and hopes to expand his practice in a way that facilitates this endeavor.
