She earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Lamar University in 2017, an MBA from The University of Texas-Pan American in 2008, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas-Pan American in 2004, and an Associate of Science in engineering from South Texas College. She's also a John Maxwell certified speaker and coach.

A leader in her community, Dr. Adame's commitment to service is evident through her founding of the Persistence in Adversity Foundation in 2020. As its executive director, she has spearheaded initiatives such as the Spread the Warmth RGV campaign, which has distributed over 8,000 new blankets to those in need within the Rio Grande Valley area. Additionally, she established the Be the Change Leadership Conference to empower high school juniors and seniors with motivational speeches, financial literacy workshops, soft skills, and practical skills training. She fouded the Skills Spark sessions and with the assitance of the community they equip students with necessary skills such as tying a tie and writing a check.

Dr. Adame's accolades include being named one of the Latinas of Influence by Hispanic Lifestyle in 2024 and receiving the HWNT Hispanic Women Making History award the same year. She was also recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the RGV Hispanic Chamber in 2022, Woman of Distinction by the Texas Association of Mexican American Chamber of Commerce (TAMACC), and received the Faculty of the Year award from South Texas College in 2019. Her excellence in teaching was further acknowledged with the NISOD Teaching Excellence Award in 2008.
