Mr. Perez's expertise extends to designing poolside dining, in-room dining, delivery foods and takeout options. He is responsible for building these concepts from the ground up, implementing strategies, business plans and high-level financial targets. Additionally, he creates tools, systems and processes to support these objectives while providing training and support for continuous improvement.

Before joining Volante Senior Living, Mr. Perez served as the national director of dining operations at MBK Senior Living from 2021 to 2024. During this time, he honed his skills in managing large-scale dining operations and further developed his reputation as an expert in hospitality and culinary arts. Mr. Perez's tenure at MBK Senior Living was marked by a commitment to excellence and innovation in senior living dining experiences.

From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Perez was the vice president of hospitality at Valeo Groupe Americas in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this capacity, he oversaw hospitality services across Texas, South Carolina, Georgia and Nevada, ensuring they met the highest quality and customer satisfaction standards. Mr. Perez's leadership significantly enhanced the organization's reputation within the industry.

Mr. Perez's career also included a notable period as the national director of dining operations at Kisco Senior Living in Carlsbad, California, between 2015 and 2019. Earlier, he operated as a consultant from 2013 to 2015. This entrepreneurial venture allowed him to apply his extensive knowledge of hospitality management to assist various clients in achieving their operational goals. Mr. Perez's early career was shaped by his partnership with T S Restaurants between 2000 and 2012.

Mr. Perez's educational background includes an Associate of Arts in business administration from MiraCosta College in 1998 and coursework in culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America in 2000. These academic achievements laid the foundation for his successful career in hospitality management. In addition to his college work, Mr. Perez holds several certifications that underscore his expertise. He is recognized as a certified administrator for residential care for older adults from the State of California Department of Social Services. He also holds a residential care for the elderly certification from the California Assisted Living Association and, among other designations, is a certified hospitality trainer from Forbes Travel Guide.

Throughout his career, Mr. Perez has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Hospitality Excellence Award from Forbes Travel Guide and the Malcolm Baldrige Silver Award. He was also recognized during his tenure at T S Restaurants for his dedication to sustainability, which earned him the Sustainable Business of the Year Award, presented by Senator Tom Harman. Furthermore, Mr. Perez's dedication to excellence was exemplified by his invitation to speak on hospitality at Purdue University for two consecutive years.
