Mr. McClure's career began with foundational roles that shaped his technical acumen. From 2002 to 2007, he was a service manager and project engineer at The Spencer Turbine Company, following a two-year tenure as a senior project engineer and manager at Wood Group Pratt & Whitney. His early career included a significant stint as a project engineer at Jen-Coat Inc., now known as ProAmpac, from 1993 to 2000.

Prior to his civilian work, Mr. McClure entered the world of electricity during his service as an E-4 electrician's mate in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1983. Even as a child, he experimented with batteries and motors, delighted by what could be done with electricity. Overall, his dedication to purpose and understanding of his work's impact have been key drivers of his success.

Mr. McClure's academic achievements have played a crucial role in his professional journey. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer systems engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1998, following an Associate of Science in electrical engineering from Holyoke Community College in 1986. His educational foundation was strengthened by earning a diploma with honors in pre-engineering and applied mathematics from Jackson High School in 1978.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. McClure holds several certifications that underscore his expertise. He is a certified energy manager through the Association of Energy Engineers and is also a licensed electrician in Massachusetts. His membership with the Association of Energy Engineers reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements. His work in the industry led to him being named Sales MVP.

Mr. McClure's continued work in Smart Grid development strengthens his capacity to offer expert technical guidance to clients. He is skilled at uncovering untapped opportunities and providing prompt implementation support to ensure thorough, effective outcomes. He places great importance on the relationships he cultivates, consistently treating others with respect, courtesy and professionalism. In his personal life, he finds joy in gardening and building things.
