WAYNE, NJ, May 23, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Azmat Aulakh has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Currently serving as JGM's NY/NJ lead, Mr. Aulakh oversees the expansion of the firm's East Coast portfolio while managing strategic infrastructure projects across the New York City metropolitan region. He blends construction management, business coaching, and growth strategy to deliver impact from blueprint to boardroom. His leadership extends beyond technical execution — it's rooted in empowering people, building sustainable partnerships, and helping others rise.
A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Mr. Aulakh views 21st-century business development as relationship-centered and equity-driven. His work with Columbia University's Vendor Development Program reflects this mindset, where he coaches small and MWBE firms to strengthen internal systems, build capacity, and gain long-term market access.
In 2025, Mr. Aulakh joined the New York Institute of Technology as an adjunct professor, a deeply personal milestone. Inspired by his mother — a lifelong educator whose humility and wisdom continue to guide him — he sees teaching as a way to honor her legacy and ignite the next generation of leaders. In every session, he encourages students to lead not just with expertise, but with heart.
His academic credentials include a Master of Science in construction administration from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Science in architectural technology from the New York Institute of Technology, and an Associate of Science in construction management from North Lake College. He also completed the Career Discovery Program in architectural studies through Harvard's Graduate School of Design and has completed leadership fellowships with Coro Leadership New York and Korn Ferry's Leadership U for Humanity.
Outside of his professional role, Mr. Aulakh is a creative and reflective spirit. He enjoys writing, painting, and horseback riding, and is the author of Where Life Can Be Found — his most personal work exploring meaning, resilience, and self-discovery. A committed community volunteer and advocate for ethical leadership, he's driven by a belief that service is not something you do after success — it's part of how success is defined.
At his core, Mr. Aulakh strives to be known not only for his accomplishments, but for the way he lives. As a devoted son, present father, and loyal friend, he believes legacy is not built in titles — it's shaped by character, love, and the people we lift along the way.
Looking ahead, Mr. Aulakh is focused on expanding his impact through inclusive development, business mentorship, and values-driven leadership.
"True impact is measured not by what you build, but by who you lift while building it."
"My parents taught me that knowledge shared is legacy extended. In every role I hold, I lead with purpose — building not just infrastructure, but people, trust, and futures that outlast the project." Azmat Aulakh
