NEW YORK, NY, May 28, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beth Carole Ring has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Ring is a distinguished expert in customs and international trade law who has dedicated nearly five decades to her profession. Her career is marked by her tenure as a senior partner at Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg P.A., where she served for 41 years until her retirement in 2025. During her time at the firm, she was instrumental in assisting importers with customs issues, providing strategic advice on import entries and helping clients navigate complex international transactions. Ms. Ring's expertise in leveraging trade agreements to minimize tariffs and reduce costs was highly valued by her clients.
Before joining Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, Ms. Ring spent nearly seven years at another firm. It was during this period that two of her partners left to establish Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg in Miami. She joined them thereafter as a partner, opening and growing the New York office in the ensuing years. Ms. Ring's contributions to the firm were not limited to client services; she also mentored younger lawyers, guiding them through the intricacies of the legal profession and the practice of the firm's specialty.
Ms. Ring's educational background laid a strong foundation for her legal career. She earned a Doctor of Law from the University of Pennsylvania in 1976 after completing a bachelor's degree with high honors in history from the same institution in 1973. Additionally, she pursued coursework at the Hague Academy of International Law and studied European Community Law at the University of Brussels in 1973 on a Carnegie Foundation Fellowship.
To remain involved in developments affecting her field, Ms. Ring was actively involved with several industry-related organizations, including the American Apparel and Footwear Association, the American Association of Exporters and Importers and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy. She also served on the board of the Customs and International Trade Bar Association for 20 years and was previously involved with the Israel Bonds Organization.
Notably, she frequently led webinars and seminars on customs and international trade law, including firm-hosted programs that enhanced industry education and awareness. Early in her career, Ms. Ring traveled extensively across the country and internationally to deliver in-person training seminars before the emergence of digital platforms.
Outside her distinguished legal career, Ms. Ring enjoys cooking, reading and exploring cultural institutions such as museums and theaters. In the years ahead, she aspires to bring her specialized knowledge to corporate boards, where her insights into international trade and regulatory compliance can offer a valuable and often underrepresented perspective. Ms. Ring also plans to devote time to charitable and volunteer endeavors, inspired by her love of animals and her commitment to supporting elderly individuals.
