Mr. Perez has established a distinguished career in real estate development and construction, currently serving as the vice president of real estate development and construction at Senior Resource Group in Solana Beach, California. In this role, he manages the entire process across multiple disciplines, coordinating all aspects of projects from entitlement to design and permitting, ultimately delivering fully completed projects to the operations department. His expertise in real estate and project leadership is evident through his successful management of numerous projects across the United States. He is particularly proud of working on both rural settings and compact urban sites that include high-density towers and earning sustainability and Design Excellence Awards for his work on Northern Arizona University's buildings on campus.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Perez was the vice president of real estate development and design at IDM Companies from 2020 to 2023. For the preceding four years, he held the role of vice president of real estate development and construction for Urban Communities LLC, where he oversaw national projects across the United States. He also served as the director principal at LEO A DALY in Phoenix for two years and as a senior associate at DLR Group for one year.
Mr. Perez's early career includes roles as senior project manager and studio lead designer at Jacobs-Carter & Burgess from 1999 to 2005, where he honed his skills in architecture and engineering. He also contributed as a designer in architecture and construction administration at DAVIS from 1995 to 1999 and as an architectural designer at Fluor Corporation-Allen & Philp for the previous two years. His dedication to excellence was recognized early on with an Architect of the Year-Arizona award by the American Institute of Architects Design Excellence Award in 2004 while working with Carter & Burgess. After pursuing awards early in his career, he soon shifted toward a contribution mindset, now finding greater satisfaction in impactful career achievements than personal accolades.
Educationally, Mr. Perez's background includes an Executive Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Science in architecture and urban planning from Pontifical Bolivarian University, earned in in Colombia before immigrating to the United States. Additionally, he holds a certification in construction administration and management from Arizona State University. He has been accepted by the Thunderbird School of Global Business to receive a doctorate in professional practice starting in August 2025.

Mr. Perez's personal life is enriched by his passion for learning, travel and aviation. He enjoys immersing himself in local cultures during work assignments and has worked on projects across thirty-eight states in the U.S. His recent business trip to Hong Kong with Thunderbirds allowed him to explore Asia's developments and Hong Kong's unique geopolitical status while delving into its cultural, religious and historical aspects.
In the upcoming years, Mr. Perez intends to complete his studies and leverage this knowledge in consultancy and professional practice. He also aims to drive innovation within Senior Resource Group or pursue opportunities elsewhere if necessary. Additionally, he plans to establish a mentoring program for emerging professionals, participate actively in conferences across the United States and South America and evolve as a motivational speaker to empower others worldwide.
His immediate family includes his wife, Becky, who works in medical/financial billing, his son, Daniel Jameson, 21, who is studying design and animation, his step-daughter, Rachel, 28, who is expecting her first baby, and his mother, brother and two sisters in Spain and Latin America.
