His career trajectory also includes a significant period with the United States Air Force (Active Duty & Reserves), where he served as a comptroller from 1996 until his military retirement in 2019. During this time, he was deployed overseas as a comptroller for a wing at an airbase, an experience he regards as a pinnacle of his military career. Mr. Schliesman's professional journey began with roles such as staff auditor and supervisory auditor at the Air Force Audit Agency and Defense Contract Audit Agency, respectively, spanning from 2002 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he worked as a cost accountant for Bosch from 2000 to 2002. His military service is distinguished by his rank of lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force, where he dedicated 23 years, including eight years of active duty followed by 15 years in the reserves.

Mr. Schliesman holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Technology in business administration from Charleston Southern University, completed in 1995 and 1994, respectively. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Liberty University with an expected graduation in 2027. His academic background laid a strong foundation for his career achievements and facilitated his acquisition of several certifications. In this regard, he was recognized as a Lean Six Sigma black belt from the United States Air Force in 2022, a certified internal auditor from the Institute Of Internal Auditors in 2019, a certified fraud examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2015, a Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2010 and an Enrolled Agent from the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Schliesman's professional affiliations include membership in esteemed organizations such as the National Association of Tax Professionals, where he serves on the board for the Wisconsin Chapter; the Institute of Internal Auditors; the Society of Defense Financial Management; and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. These memberships reflect his commitment to maintaining high standards within his field.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Schliesman is actively involved in civic activities. He served on the board of The Capital Chamber Orchestra and is engaged with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and his local homeowner association.
