Mr. Gustafson has established a distinguished career in fleet management, currently serving as a regional vice president of Fleet Consulting at Wheels Inc. Since joining the company in 2018, he has ascended through various roles and responsibilities within Wheels' client management team. His expertise in managing large client portfolios across the U.S. and Canada is evident in his strategic approach to addressing diverse fleet needs. Mr. Gustafson's ability to customize solutions for clients, whether driven by cost considerations, safety and sustainability, and/or specific vehicle requirements, underscores his proficiency in the field.

Before his tenure at Wheels Inc., Mr. Gustafson spent several years in the insurance industry. He began with Farmers Insurance in 2012 as an insurance advisor and pivoted into the role of agency business consultant and district training manager from 2013 to 2016. His time at Farmers was marked by significant contributions to coaching, sales management, training and recruiting. Recruited by Meemic Insurance Company in 2016, Mr. Gustafson ascended to a territory sales management position until 2018.

Mr. Gustafson's career began at Citi, spanning from 2005 to 2012. Starting as a branch manager and later advancing to assistant center manager, he gained valuable experience in financial services that laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.

Academically, Mr. Gustafson earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in public relations and business administration from Illinois State University in 2005. He also received a Master of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Phoenix in 2009. These academic accomplishments have been instrumental in shaping Mr. Gustafon's strategic thinking and leadership skills.

Mr. Gustafson's commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by his certifications from the NAFA Fleet Management Association, including as a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) in 2021. Earlier, he received a Sustainable Fleet Management certification in 2020 and a Consultative Sales Designation from Farmers Insurance in 2012.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Gustafson is actively involved in civic organizations and community service. He volunteers with CANDY to support neurodiverse employees at Wheels Inc. and has previously served as a volunteer transport for Faith in Action of McHenry County. His role as a grant liaison for Thank America's Teachers and Home of the Sparrow, as well as a elemtary school and high school volunteer financial educator with Junior Achievement, highlights his commitment to education and domestic abuse support systems. Mr. Gustafson also volunteers a large amount of his time coaching and supporting local youth baseball and football programs.

Mr. Gustafson received the Manager of the Year Award from Citi, reflecting his leadership capabilities early in his career, which set the stage for several future accomplishments as his career progressed and transformed. As recently as 2021, he was recognized again as Wheels' Fleet Consulting Executive of the Year. Eager for future accomplishments, he remains focused on a balanced work life where he can continue spending quality time with his family, while continually pursuing personal and professional growth opportunities within and beyond his current industry.
