Before assuming this position, Ms. Kazaka completed a long tenure as an operations manager at VUKA Group from 2007 to 2022 before being promoted to Events Manager for the Mining Portfolio. During this period, she honed her skills in managing complex operations and developed a reputation as a respected brand within the African market. She also significantly improved efficiency by streamlining processes and reducing turnaround times while also achieving cost savings and boosting employee retention through strategic team management. Her proactive vendor engagement led to improved service quality and favorable pricing, and her commitment to safety resulted in a marked reduction in workplace incidents.

Ms. Kazaka's journey with VUKA Group began in 2007 when she transitioned from a contractual employee to a marketing manager and conference organizer. Before joining VUKA Group, she worked as a supervisor at Kauai Juice Claremont from 2003 to 2007 and a programme presenter at Antenne A TV Channel for three years.

Ms. Kazaka's academic background laid the foundation for her successful career, earning a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2006. Her studies in journalism at the Institute of Applied Information Training (IFASIC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo and her exposure to Latin and philosophy at Lycée Molière further enriched her analytical and communication abilities.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Kazaka is actively involved in civic organizations. She serves on the board of Furniture Friends and is an advisory board member for DRC Mining Week. Furthermore, her volunteer work with Portland Adult Education and as a teaching assistant reflects her commitment to community service.

Born in Congo-Kinshasa, Ms. Kazaka is a proud mother of three children and enjoys reading, walking and dancing during her leisure time. She is fluent in English, French and Lingala and has a working knowledge of Kikongo as well.
