Prior to her time in the U.S., Ms. Olschewski excelled as the chief digital officer for EMEA at Edelman from 2021 to 2024 based out of Amsterdam, playing a critical role in shaping digital strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to Edelman, Ms. Olschewski was at adidas from 2019 to 2021, a time that was marked by a series of significant achievements. As the global director of digital strategy and innovation, she contributed to developing the world's first fully recyclable shoe and product range consumer experience, a project earning recognition on The Times 100 list in 2019 and a nomination among Fast Company's most innovative companies in 2021. Following this project, Ms. Olschewski assisted the company board in formulating its business strategy for the next five years as well as other innovation and brand model initiatives.
Ms. Olschewski's earlier career includes roles such as creative director and associate creative director at 72andSunny from 2014 to 2019, where she honed her skills in creative direction and innovation. Before that, she served as an innovation and consumer insights strategist at adidas from 2017 to 2018 and as a senior creative and marketing strategist with various agencies in the Omnicom and Dentsu networks from 2008 to 2014.
Excellent academic credentials further define Ms. Olschewski's profile. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and communication from Academy U5, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2009. Subsequently, she pursued a Master of Arts in innovation management from the University of the Arts Central Saint Martins London in 2018 while balancing her responsibilities as a director-level professional. Additionally, she has secured a range of professional designations from prestigious institutions such as the MIT Media Lab, and Ms. Olschewski completed Harvard Business School Executive Education's Value Creation, Finance, Culture, and Leadership Certification in 2021.She has won many awards such as Cannes Lions and Effies and was a Cannes Lions judge in 2022.
