Before joining Broadcom Inc., he spent a significant period from 2001 to 2015 as a senior performance analyst at JC Penney, where he contributed to optimizing system performance.

Mr. Harrington's earlier career includes time as a contractor with International Business Machines from 2000 to 2001 and a systems engineer II at Sprint Corporation from 1999 to 2000. His roles at Alamo Rent a Car from 1991 to 1999 as both a database manager and senior help desk analyst were pivotal in developing his technical acumen. Additionally, he served as production support manager and project leader at Epic Healthcare between 1989 and 1991, followed by a project manager position at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas from 1988 to 1989.

His foundational years were spent at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he held various positions including scheduling shift manager, senior scheduler, data management shift manager, operator and scheduler from 1983 to 1985. It was during this time that Mr. Harrington developed his leadership skills, overcoming initial reluctance from colleagues to teach him due to his young age. This experience instilled in him a lifelong dedication to mentoring others.

Mr. Harrington's educational background includes earning a diploma from North Garland High School in 1982. He has also obtained several certifications from Broadcom, including Mainframe AlOps Solutions 2-Sales, Mainframe Consumption Licensing 2-Sales, CA SYSVIEW Performance Management - Intermediate and Mainframe Licensing & Pricing 1-Sales between 2020 and 2021. These certifications have been instrumental in advancing his career.

Inspired by his father's legacy at EDS, Mr. Harrington embarked on his professional journey with the same company after his sophomore year in high school. His father's influence remains a guiding force in his life, motivating him to achieve success through hard work and dedication rather than relying on familial connections.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Harrington is actively involved in civic activities such as volunteering as a mentor for robotics competitions from 2011 to 2013. In his personal life, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, music, sports and spending quality time with his family.
