Equally renowned for his leadership and dedication to advancing immunology research, Dr. Reyes directed the Sealy Center for Vaccine Development Clinical Trials Laboratory at UTMB and led the gastrointestinal immunology core at the Texas Gulf Coast Digestive Diseases Center from 2000 to 2006. Each of these management positions underscores his expertise in immunology and infectious diseases, areas in which he has made significant contributions through research, education, and service on study sections for the National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Affairs Merit Review Board.
