Mr. Miller, a retired nuclear weapons logistics professional, has enjoyed a distinguished career marked by significant contributions to the United States Army and beyond in the civilian sphere, such as being actively involved in the North Alabama Veterans Coalition. His expertise in nuclear weapons logistics is a testament to his dedication and skill in this highly specialized field. Beginning his career as an explosive ordnance disposal technician, Mr. Miller went on to hone his skills as a warhead maintenance technician, completing specialized courses in the field, followed by a nuclear weapons course.

Throughout his career, Mr. Miller worked on all Army nuclear weapons, focusing on their maintenance. His military service is notable for his role as an inspector on the Department of Defense Inspection Team, where he was responsible for inspecting and certifying all U.S. military and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) units carrying nuclear weapons. Furthermore, Mr. Miller served as a major in the U.S. Army and commanded Fort Windgate Army Depot in Gallup, New Mexico, for five years. During his tenure there, he served on the Navajo Council and played a crucial role in efforts to remove the post from the Base Realignment and Closure list.

Prior to that assignment, Mr. Miller was stationed in Germany, overseeing logistics for ground force nuclear weapons north of the Alps. During his year in Vietnam, he served as a munitions company commander, further demonstrating his leadership capabilities. After retiring from the U.S. Army in 1989, after over two decades of service, he transitioned to civilian roles that continued to leverage his military experience. Mr. Miller became a deputy commandant at the New Mexico Military Institute, one of the best military schools in the U.S., where he served for nearly 10 years as a leadership advisor and mentor to cadets.

Mr. Miller's impact on the cadets was profound, with many going on to successful careers in the Army. In reflecting on his military career, he cites that experience and his impact there as one of his most notable career achievements. For his contributions, service and excellence, he has received numerous awards, including being made an honorary member of the Navajo tribe and receiving accolades from the Navajo code talkers. Moreover, his military honors include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and a Meritorious Medal presented by General Colin Colen Powell, who he worked under when he served as a general aide to Lieutenant General Henry Harper, the commander of the Deport Systems Command.

Along with his aforementioned specialty certifications, Mr. Miller's educational background includes a master's degree in management from Webster University Presidents list graduated with honors, which he earned in 2003, and a bachelor's degree in economics and management from the University of New Mexico Magna Cum Laude and Wall Street Journal Award Winner. He also attended the New Mexico Military Institute and completed an advanced course with the U.S. Army. In reflecting on his journey, Mr. Miller credits his success to his upbringing in Wyoming. Growing up, he developed a strong work ethic through ranch work as a child and later gained valuable experience working in the oil fields.

Additionally, Mr. Miller also believes that the values he learned in his small town contributed significantly to his achievements. In his personal life, he enjoys horse farming and has a passion for working with youth. He teaches baseball at local high schools and finds immense joy in mentoring young people. Alongside his wife, they are committed to supporting veterans by providing transportation to Veteran Affairs facilities when needed. All in all, Mr. Miller's dedication to community service and youth mentorship continues to be a source of fulfillment for him as he strives to remain relevant to young people and fellow veterans alike.
