Through her organization, Mrs. Weah operates a store that sells products primarily from Liberia and other regions in West Africa, providing a platform for Liberian youth to showcase their craftsmanship. Additionally, her dedication to changing the narrative surrounding Liberia is evident in her efforts to share often-overlooked stories through photography and provide free downloadable resources to ensure accessibility to valuable materials.

Before launching Wokie Weah LLC, Mrs. Weah was the president of Youthprise, a resource for youth-serving organizations and systems throughout Minnesota, from 2011 to 2022. Earlier, she excelled in her leading role as the senior vice president of the National Youth Leadership Council between 1992 and 2011. Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the national nonprofit promotes service-learning in schools and communities nationwide. Earlier in her career, Ms. Weah was an education project officer with the United Nations Children's Fund in Liberia, where she was instrumental in planning and strategy implementation.

Mrs. Weah's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in education from Adelphi University, earned in 1976. Her academic achievements have played a significant role in her success, providing her with the foundation to lead effectively and contribute meaningfully to her community.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mrs. Weah is actively involved with several civic-minded organizations, including the We-Care Foundation, We-Care International, V3 Center for Excellence, the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Society of Women Against AIDS and V3 Sports. She has also served on several boards for organizations like Bridgemakers, Every Hour Counts and North Minneapolis V3 Sports.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Weah's work has been deeply rooted in innovation and risk-taking, emphasizing the importance of learning from mistakes to foster growth. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, such as being named one of the "Real Power 50" by Minnesota Business Magazine in 2016, receiving a Facing Race Award in 2021, and a General Mills Martin Luther King Recognition in 2022.

As she approaches her 70s, Mrs. Weah envisions sharing her accumulated knowledge and experiences with others while embracing her role as an elder. Her transformative experiences on Native American reservations have reshaped her perspective on history and culture, influencing her commitment to cultural understanding and learning as key aspects of her work.
