OXFORD, FL, June 05, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Randall E. Kitchens has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. With decades of service as a military chaplain, Dr. Kitchens has established a distinguished career marked by wisdom, leadership and dedication. He began his career as a chaplain candidate in the United States Air Force Reserve from 1987 to 1990, followed by his long-standing commitment as a chaplain in the United States Air Force Chaplain Corps, where he remained until 2008. He served as wing chaplain for the 21st Space Wing at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado from 2008 to 2011 and as a staff chaplain at the Air Force Materiel Command headquarters from 2011 to 2012. After completing graduate studies at the U.S. Air Force Air War College in 2013, he spent one year as a deputy commandant at the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps College.

In 2014, Dr. Kitchens became the U.S. Air Force Academy Chaplain and remained in this role until 2016. Afterward, he served abroad as the 9th Air Force (AFCENT) command chaplain in Doha, Qatar, from 2016 to 2017. After returning to the United States, he spent three years as the command chaplain at the Air Force Global Strike Command at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. In 2020, Dr. Kitchens was appointed deputy chief of chaplains for the U.S. Air Force, advancing to chief of chaplains the following year, now serving both the Air Force and the Space Force and continuing in this capacity until 2024. Now, after nearly 30 years of supporting the spiritual needs of service members, Dr. Kitchens continues to influence and guide others as the president of REK 20 LLC.

Dr. Kitchens' educational background is extensive. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology and Christian counseling and a Doctor of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary. He also earned a Master of Divinity in organizational leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Science in military strategic studies from the U.S. Air Force Air War College and a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Mercer University.

In addition to completing four units of clinical pastoral education through the Association of Christian Pastoral Educators, Dr. Kitchens completed training with Dare To Lead and the Next Jump Leadership Academy. He is involved with several industry-related organizations and holds life memberships in the Military Chaplains Association, the Air & Space Forces Association, the Military Officers Association of America and the American Legion.

Dr. Kitchens' most significant accomplishment is successfully uniting the entire chaplain corps under a shared mission, establishing a strategic plan that continues to progress effectively. His accomplishments have been recognized with inclusion in the 1985 Who's Who in Religion and an Outstanding Young Men of the Year award. He attributes his success to a strong faith foundation and unwavering family support, which have been instrumental throughout his career.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Kitchens enjoys woodworking and playing golf. He is committed to making a positive impact on his community and aims to reach as many individuals as possible, especially teens, to help them achieve their goals through his organization's efforts. Additionally, he is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of his children and grandchildren, instilling in them values and aspirations that will guide them as they forge their own paths to success.
