Ms. Barak's collaborative and hands on leadership approach has led to a remarkable decrease in turnover rate over the short time in her officer role.

Ms. Barak's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication and language disorders from Touro University in 2009 and a Master of Arts in communication and language disorders from Montclair State University in 2011. These academic accomplishments have been instrumental in Ms. Barak's success, providing her with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in her field.

In addition to her formal education, Ms. Barak holds certifications that further enhance her professional capabilities. She has completed PEERS Support training at the University of California, Los Angeles as well has attended many conferences and professional development throughout her career. These credentials have equipped her with specialized techniques that she applies in her practice to benefit both clients and colleagues. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Barak is actively involved with Vistage Worldwide Inc., an organization she joined in 2024 that supports business leaders through peer advisory groups.

Personal experiences ignited Ms. Barak's passion for speech-language pathology during her childhood as her mother was a speech-language pathologist and her father was a psychologist. Rina witnessed the impact of communication loss due to her father's stroke when she was in college and saw how quickly he was able to make progress and get back to his important work as a psychologist with practice and persistence in working on his speech and language skills. Attributing much of her success to the influence of her parents, who worked in helping professions and instilled in her a strong work ethic and determination, ultimately motivated her to make a difference in this field not only with the clients but with other therapists and clinicians.

In light of her success, Ms. Barak has been recognized with several awards, such as Top Leader and Top Workplace, reflecting her commitment to excellence.
