Before joining Bayer, he was with Monsanto Company as a learning and development specialist from 2014 to 2016 and district sales manager from 2013 to 2014. His efforts in these roles were pivotal in establishing training programs for Fortune 100 companies like Monsanto and Bayer Crop Science.

Mr. Scarbrough's earlier career includes significant contributions as a regional director of sales at Schering-Plough from 2004 to 2008, where he was brought on by Fred Hassan following Bayer's acquisition by Schering-Plough. He also held the position of assistant director of sales at Bayer HealthCare from 2003 to 2004 after serving as a district sales manager, sales trainer and sales professional from 1998 to 2004. His initial professional experiences include roles as a general ledger supervisor at Frito-Lay from 1995 to 1998 and a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1993 to 1995.

Academically, Mr. Scarbrough holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from William & Mary, completed in 1993. He further solidified his expertise by becoming a Certified Public Accountant through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1994. His educational background laid the foundation for his successful transition into various leadership roles across multiple industries.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Scarbrough is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Wayne F. Gibbs Accounting Society, where he served as president, and the North American Mission Board. He also volunteers at his church, extending his influence beyond the corporate sphere. His dedication to excellence was recognized when he received the Top District Sales Manager award from KV in 2012.
