SEDONA, AZ, June 09, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- L. Jay Morton has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Morton is the visionary founder and owner of Acoustic Cellars Lodge, a premier Arizona retreat, and a celebrated musician. With a career spanning multiple industries and an unwavering commitment to excellence, he has earned recognition for his unique blend of expertise in five-star hospitality, peak performance psychology, winemaking and music, establishing himself as a trailblazer in each of his pursuits.

A native of the United States, Mr. Morton's diverse career began with his passion for music, which started at a young age when he was introduced to performing and music, traveling on his parent's gospel tour bus. He quickly became adept at singing, playing the drums and, later, the guitar, developing a deep connection to the roots of American music—particularly Delta blues. Currently, he is focused on his unique musical tribute showcase, "The Crossroads Chronicles," an interactive edutainment multimedia program for the American RootsBlues Foundation ™. The program shares stories and songs from the early roots of blues and has brought Mr. Morton to stages around the world, where he demonstrates his exceptional musicianship.

Mr. Morton has produced several albums, including "Down Home" in 2022, "Best of Undercover Acoustic" in 2021 and "Lay My Burden Down" in 2004. His musical contributions earned him numerous accolades, such as recognition as one of the Telluride Blues Festival Acoustic Showcase winners in 2009, induction into the National Heritage Blues Hall of Fame as a performing artist and ambassador in 2011, Arizona Blues Showcase victories in 2012, 2013 and 2023, and an International Memphis Blues feature in 2024.

After a brief career as a college athlete, Mr. Morton ventured into real estate investment and contracting to successfully fund his continuing education in the burgeoning fields of mind-body integration and natural health sciences. With a particular passion for stress management and performance enhancement, he founded Stress Busters of America Inc. in the mid-1990s. The company offered therapeutic sessions, which included physical massage therapy, guided imagery and visualization. Mr. Morton's pioneering customized programs garnered successful results for athletes, executives, and corporate clients, helping them maximize their potential both on and off the field. His clientele included the NFL Detroit Lions, professional, collegiate, and amateur athletes, executives, corporate teams and ordinary individuals seeking to optimize their performance.

Mr. Morton's approach is rooted in his own transformative experiences, where he harnessed the power of mind-body integration to achieve peak performance as a player, coach and entrepreneur. He further developed these techniques through advanced studies at institutions such as the University of Natural Medicine and the University of Massachusetts. Complementing his formal education are additional credentials, including certification in clinical medical hypnosis from the Milton Erickson Foundation and designation as a certified master trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

In 2016, Mr. Morton's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish the Acoustic Cellars Lodge in the heart of Sedona Wine Country in the Page Springs and Cornville areas of Arizona. After completing enology coursework at the Yavapai College Southwest Wine Center, he transformed a scenic property into a private family winery and exclusive lodge that offers intimate lodging experiences, wine-tasting tours and live music events. The lodge, which accommodates up to 14 guests, has earned a reputation as one of the top-rated retreat destinations in the Verde Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA). Mr. Morton and his wife, Dawn, also host special showcases featuring musicians from around the world, combining their passion for music, wine and hospitality.

Mr. Morton is also an accomplished author with published works such as "Success Is a State of Mind," which he co-authored with Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Deepak Chopra and was released in 2009 by Insight Publishing Co. His latest books, "Resilient AF: The Mental Playbook for Overcoming Life's Toughest Challenges" and "Personal Power 2.0," the latter of which he co-authored with his wife, Dawn Morton, will be released by Lulu Press Inc. in the summer of 2025 and October 2025, respectively. His published works, which also include an e-book series and multiple contributions to articles, reflect his dedication to helping others unlock their full potential.

Mr. Morton's work continues to inspire individuals worldwide to embrace the power of trained mental visualization, guided imagery, plasticity programming™ and other mental modules to ensure peak performance. In combination with his knowledge of sports psychology and character alteration, Mr. Morton leverages these tools to guide others toward living successful lifestyles anchored in continuous self-development and personal growth.

Mr. Morton is a multifaceted individual whose life's work draws on his philosophy of living what he calls a "Renaissance Life"—pursuing activities and work that capture one's passion and interests and then excelling in those endeavors to contribute to others' journeys toward success. He has accomplished this vision in the hospitality, music, personal growth and performance industries.

A proud husband, father and leader in his community, Mr. Morton remains committed to enriching lives through the harmonious integration of music, wine and nature. To achieve this goal, he aims to continue offering personal growth workshops, retreats and seminars at the Acoustic Cellars Lodge and sharing his expertise on stages nationwide.
