Before her current position, she operated a private practice, where she provided psychiatric care and developed a comprehensive understanding of the mental health needs across different age groups.

In preparation for her future, Dr. Daly obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Saint Catherine in 1988. She then pursued a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School, graduating in 1992. Dr. Daly completed an internship at Loyola Medical Center's MacNeal Hospital in 1993 before returning to the University of Minnesota Medical School for residencies in pediatrics and psychiatry, completed in 1996 and 1998, respectively. She gained further expertise with a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2000.

Dr. Daly holds certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both child and adolescent psychiatry and general psychiatry, as well as from the American Board of Pediatrics. This broad background enables her to approach patient care holistically, integrating insights from obstetrics, pediatrics and psychiatry. Dr. Daly's commitment to excellence is exemplified by her achievement of passing three board exams within a short period, a testament to her dedication and expertise.

Adding to her commitments, Dr. Daly holds professional affiliations as a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. These memberships have allowed her to remain at the forefront of her career.
