Prior to his current role, Mr. Jones was the director of national accounts and federal health at Smith & Nephew from 2013 to 2023. During his tenure, he identified inconsistencies in the company's pricing strategy and led a team to restructure pricing for a $200 million organization. This initiative earned him the Soaring Eagle Award for his corporate-level contributions. Before joining Smith & Nephew, he served as a corporate account director at Johnson & Johnson from 2009 to 2012, where he set sales records in the surgical sector and advanced from sales into marketing, eventually managing the West Coast region and earning the title of Regional Manager of the Year.

Mr. Jones's earlier career includes roles such as business development director for the United States at Draeger Medical from 2008 to 2009 and business manager for perinatal care in North America at Draeger Medical from 2007 to 2008. He also held the position of U.S. national sales manager at Huntleigh Healthcare in 2006 and served as a corporate account manager at Johnson & Johnson from 2003 to 2006. His initial role at Johnson & Johnson was as a senior hospital business manager from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Jones has led teams in several organizations to new heights, and recognition.

Mr. Jones began his professional journey as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Aviation Branch, where he served as Delta Company commander of 1-171st Combat Aviation from 1995 to 1998. Remarkably, he was selected for the U.S. Army's test pilot track immediately after flight training—a rare opportunity typically reserved for individuals with extensive experience. Despite beginning the course with only 244 flight hours, he graduated with honors at the top of his class.

Mr. Jones's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Rider University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in political science with a minor in Russian studies from James Madison University in 1986. He also obtained a black belt in Six Sigma process excellence from Johnson & Johnson and a commercial pilot license from the Federal Aviation Administration.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Jones is actively involved in civic organizations and industry-related groups. He previously worked with Defeat Autism (now Autism Speaks) and is a lifetime member of the Military Officers Association of America. As chair of the Veterans Employee Resource Group within Marmon, he plays a pivotal role in supporting and uniting approximately 200 veterans within the company.
