With a career spanning more than four decades of outstanding service, Ms. Magné has established herself as a prominent figure in the field of contract management. As the principal owner and executive director of contracts at VA-Pactum Consulting LLC, she is responsible for reviewing solicitations and government proposals, identifying potential risk areas, engaging in business development and providing comprehensive training to her team. Her expertise in nurturing high-functioning individuals and securing contracts has helped her deliver results for Fortune 500 companies as well as women-owned and veteran-owned businesses.
Ms. Magné began her storied career with the United States Marine Corps, where she provided government services as a civil servant in Okinawa, Japan, from 1984 to 1986. This experience ignited her passion for contract management, leading her to join Science Applications International Corporation upon her return to the United States. Over the course of two decades, she rose through the ranks to become the director of subcontracts, honing her skills in managing complex contracts for various government agencies while training and mentoring junior staff.
In 2006, Ms. Magné joined BAE Systems Information Technology as the director of contracts. Specifically recruited to establish a subcontracts department in preparation for an audit, she displayed outstanding leadership and strategic vision in creating this new sector. Following this role, she was as a senior contracts manager at Dynamics Research Corporation from 2008 to 2009 — during which she provided guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams and revised contract policies — and served as the director of contracts at G&B Solutions Inc. until 2011.
Ms. Magné's tenure at Vencore Services and Solutions (formerly QinetiQ North America) from 2011 to 2015 saw her excel as a senior director of contracts and large NASA proposals in support of the Aerospace Operations and Systems division. In 2015, she briefly held the position of principal at VA-Pactum Contracts Consulting LLC before becoming the senior vice president of contracts and procurement at Amentum, where she worked until 2022. As the executive director of contracts for Intel at ManTech International Corporation, she successfully developed a succession planning strategy focused on knowledge sharing. Widely renowned for her abilities as a change agent, she operates on the belief that it is essential to provide teams and individuals with the insights they require to excel and grow in their roles.
Ms. Magné's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Acquisition and Contract Management from Strayer University-Maryland, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008. To further enhance her qualifications, she also earned a certificate in government contract management from San Diego State University.
Ms. Magné's dedication to excellence has notably earned her recognition in Who's Who in America and saw her named as one of WashingtonExec's Top 10 Contracting Executives to Watch in 2020. Inspired by her mother's noteworthy milestones in education, she continues to make significant contributions both professionally and personally, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on those around her.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Magné is deeply committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. Her community work extends to participation at women's centers and charities related to dementia and Parkinson's disease. Determined to expand her contributions, she aspires to get involved in directly supporting individuals and families of those who have dementia.
Outside of her contract management business, Ms. Magné is an accomplished artist who creates using various mediums such as oil, pastels and charcoal. She has exhibited her work in galleries like Leesburg and Great Falls — donating proceeds from sales to various causes including support for Ukraine — and was featured in Francis E. McIntire's book "Faith Magne gallery vol 10 art modern," published in 2018. Looking ahead, she is considering becoming an art teacher to give back to her community and exploring ecological ventures like beekeeping on her property. Determined to impart her knowledge for the benefit of others, she continues to build a legacy of leadership and service in all she does.
