Mr. Bushkin, a distinguished figure in the business and healthcare sectors, has made significant contributions through his innovative leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. As the founder and chief executive officer of MedKaz® in Brownsville, Vermont, he has dedicated more than 15 years to revolutionizing the management of personal health records. His work with MedKaz is a testament to his commitment to improving healthcare by empowering consumers to take control of their medical information, ultimately empowering them to better manage their care and their care providers to improve the quality of care and reduce its cost.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Bushkin served for more than 40 years as president and chief executive officer of Bushkin Associates Inc., an investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions originally based in New York but more recently headquartered in Brownsville. In this capacity, he initiated mergers and acquisitions spanning many industries and totaling billions of dollars. Before establishing Bushkin Associates, he was vice president of mergers and acquisitions at CBWL-Hayden Stone in New York from 1971 to 1972.

Mr. Bushkin's career began with roles that laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors. From 1970 to 1971, he was financial vice president and chief financial officer at Wollensak Inc. His earlier experience includes planning and marketing positions at Mobil Oil Corporation in New York City from 1964 to 1970. Additionally, he worked as a management consultant at Cresap, McCormick & Paget in New York City from 1960 to 1964.

In addition to his professional achievements, for more than 20 years, Mr. Bushkin lectured on mergers and acquisitions at American Management Association (AMA) conferences. He is an active member of several healthcare organizations as well as the Harvard Club of New York City and the Vermont-based Woodstock Athletic Club. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard College in 1956 and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1960. These educational accomplishments have been instrumental in shaping his successful career.

Beyond his professional life, Mr. Bushkin has been deeply involved in civic activities. He has served as the sole officer of his Harvard Business School class for 35 years and has held leadership roles within his synagogues in White Plains, New York, and Woodstock, Vermont. His dedication to community service reflects his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the business world.

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Mr. Bushkin married Leone Edricks of New York in 1961. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Elizabeth Bushkin Schnitzer (Marc) and Nancy Louise Bushkin, and the grandparents of two adult granddaughters who are forming their own families.

Looking ahead, Mr. Bushkin expects the widespread adoption of MedKaz by patients, care providers and payers to revolutionize healthcare.
