Additionally, he served as a series producer at New Dominion Pictures in 2004 and producer for The History Channel, A&E Television Networks, LLC from 2003 to 2004. His expertise in producing educational content was evident during his time as a producer for "NOVA" at WGBH from 2004 to 2005.

Furthermore, he contributed to corporate communications and event production at Videotex Productions from 1987 to 1993 and shared his knowledge as a lecturer at the Institute of Audio Video Engineering from 1989 to 1990.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Doyle has been an adjunct professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since 2019 and previously taught stage and screen at Western Carolina University in 2015. Mr. Doyle's academic background includes a master's degree in liberal arts and sciences from the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with honors from Durham University in 1975. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Doyle is an accomplished author of two books that continue to be utilized by individuals and universities alike. He is also actively involved in civic activities, such as volunteering for food drives. In his personal life, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, surfing, gardening and solving sudoku puzzles.
