LOS ANGELES, CA, June 13, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nasreen Haroon of Nasreen Haroon Collections was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the April 2025 Los Angeles regional edition of Architectural Digest.

While attending a convent school in her home country of Pakistan, Ms. Haroon fell in love with oil painting. Encouraged by her teacher and her father to pursue her passion, she embarked on a life as an artist, building a career that has spanned more than 30 years. Since 1992, Ms. Haroon has worked as a full-time artist at Nasreen Haroon Collections. Her artwork has been featured in prestigious locations, including in the United States Department of State Permanent Collection and at the U.S. Embassies in Algeria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates. She has also exhibited twice at the Florence Biennale in Italy.

In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Haroon is dedicated to civic advocacy. She contributed for several years on the board of directors for the Islamic Center of Southern California, served as the co-chair of the Muslim-Jewish Dialogue, and took on the position of vice president of the Pakistan Arts Council for the University of Southern California's Pacific Asia Museum. Ms. Haroon has also been involved with the Cornerstone Theater Productions Company and the Human Rights Watch Women's Steering Committee. Additionally, she was on the board of the Santa Monica Bay Interfaith Council.

The energy, strength and balance of her compositions are a direct result of her need to express specific feelings, which convey universal truths.
