Prior to her current position, Ms. Craig was the policy director for technology at the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation from 2023 to 2024. Her responsibilities included advising Ranking Member Ted Cruz on all technology policy matters before the committee and spearheading key legislative and congressional oversight initiatives. Previously, she served as a senior advisor to U.S. Senator Pat Toomey and the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs from 2021 until 2023. Her tenure in these roles was marked by significant contributions to legislative processes and policy development.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Craig was a public policy associate manager at Meta from 2019 to 2021, during which time she managed actor and behavioral policy as well as product policy for news feeds and recommendations. She also held positions at R Street Institute as an associate fellow from 2020 to 2021 and served in various other capacities under Senator Toomey, including as a legislative assistant, legislative aide and legislative correspondent from 2017 until 2019.

Instrumental in shaping Ms. Craig's career path was her academic background, including a bachelor's degree in political science with minors in Middle East studies and art history from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She also studied abroad in Amman, Jordan, as a Boren Award Scholar for Arabic in 2015 and completed a junior semester abroad in international relations at the University of St. Andrews in 2014.

Reflecting on her career, one of Ms. Craig's most prominent achievements includes being nominated by the president to be a member of the United States International Trade Commission — a notable milestone that involved an extensive yearlong vetting process before public announcement. She testified before the United States Senate Committee on Finance in support of her nomination, marking a highlight of her professional journey.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Craig is actively involved in local and civic organizations and has participated in US Squash since 2022 and the Penn Alumni Interview Program since 2016. She is an active member of the Washington, D.C. alumni community for her high school, Phillips Exeter Academy. She has also been affiliated with Sigma Kappa since 2014 and has been a member of both the Junior League of Washington and the Junior League of San Francisco.
