Ms. Gray serves as the vice president of research and access at Willis Knighton Health, a nonprofit health organization in Shreveport, Louisiana, a position she has held since 2023. Her role involves overseeing research initiatives and ensuring accessibility to health care services. Ms. Gray's position comes after initially serving as the vice president of decision support and analytics from 2022 to 2023. Her career in healthcare administration is marked by a series of leadership roles that have contributed significantly to her expertise in the field.

Before joining Willis Knighton Health, Ms. Gray was the senior associate vice president of ambulatory care at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center from 2021 to 2022. In this capacity, she provided executive leadership and direction, oversaw over 30 director reports, and managed a $380 million profit and loss. Between 2019 and 2021, she served as an executive consultant with B.E. Smith, AMN Healthcare, providing strategic guidance to numerous multidisciplinary service lines across multiple sites. Ms. Gray's earlier roles include director of physician relations and medical affairs at Baylor Saint Luke's Medical Center from 2017 to 2019 and executive director at Acclaim Physician Group from 2015 to 2017.

Ms. Gray's career began with roles as a residency coordinator for general and orthopedic surgery at the Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, Michigan State University, from 2004 to 2007. She then became the director of medical staff services at Saint Francis Hospital until 2014, followed by a similar position at Conroe Regional Medical Center from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, Ms. Gray was the lead faculty area chair for the college of natural sciences at the University of Phoenix from 2012 to 2014, where she was recognized for her contributions to academia.

Highly educated, Ms. Gray holds a master's degree in business and health care management from the University of Phoenix since 2007 and a Doctor of Philosophy, All But Dissertation, from Louisiana Baptist University. She also holds a certificate in contract law from Harvard University since 2019, among numerous others, including a clinical research associate credential from the CITI Program and various FEMA certifications related to emergency management and operations.

Ms. Gray is actively involved in several professional organizations, such as Professional Women In Healthcare and Women in Healthcare and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her civic engagements include serving as the committee chair for the American College of Healthcare Executives's Louisiana chapter since 2023. Civically, Ms. Gray fosters children, volunteers with local veterans and Habitat for Humanity, and mentor's individuals in career development, and animal rescue organizations.

In recognition of her leadership abilities, Ms. Gray received the ATHENA Leadership Award from the Greater Shreveport Chamber Business Development Connection in 2024 and a Leadership Award from the Louisiana chapter of Healthcare Executives. She was also honored as a top-rated presenter at the MUSE IT Conference. Of all her accomplishments, Ms. Gray is proudest of her three children Kimberly Pickett, Lyssa Gray, and Harrison Gray.
