She has served as an educator at the Los Angeles Music and Art School and a music conservatory in Los Angeles while pursuing her doctorate at the University of Southern California. Her earlier roles include teaching positions at West Music in Iowa and as a teacher's assistant at Texas Tech University. Additionally, she was a keyboardist with the Baroque Sinfonia Ensemble from 2009 to 2015, showcasing her versatility as a musician.

Dr. Raoufi's academic journey is equally impressive, with a Doctor of Musical Arts in early music and a graduate certificate from the University of Southern California in 2015, a master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy from The University of Iowa in 2007 and dual bachelor's degrees in piano performance and computer science from The University of Iowa in 2004. These academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her career and expertise.

Dr. Raoufi is also recognized for her contributions as an evaluator and examiner for prestigious organizations such as the Royal Academy of Music and the Certificate of Merit. Her students regularly participate in various tests and exams, with Dr. Raoufi organizing four recitals in two different locations and online, totallying in 16 shows annually. Her commitment to music education extends internationally, as she participates as an examiner for competitions and music festivals involving students from Canada, Sri Lanka, Germany, and other US states.

Dr. Raoufi's professional affiliations include being a National Certified Teacher of Music, a Suzuki trained teacher in piano and a certified music examiner for both The Royal Conservatory of Music and the Music Teacher National Association. These certifications underscore her commitment to maintaining high standards in music education.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Raoufi is actively involved in civic activities. She volunteers at her children's school and contributes to holiday shows and talent shows. Her dedication to community service extends to volunteering at nursing homes and performing at benefit concerts for cancer research.

Dr. Raoufi's passion for music is further reflected in her creative projects, including the development of 11 music theory apps for Android and iOS platforms such as "Miss Azi's Music Maze" and "Miss Azi's Little Pianists."
