Since 2024, he has been responsible for overseeing the strategy of the organization's existing business portfolio, managing a team that handles 80 percent of the company's $100 million valuation. His leadership has helped expand Milliman's client base to approximately 165 patrons, including health plans, health systems, accountable care organizations, state agencies and community coalitions.

Prior to reaching his current role at Milliman MedInsight, Mr. Pedersen was the director of revenue and inside sales from 2021 to 2024. During this period, he drove nearly $40 million in new revenue for the company and achieved a consistent net growth of 200 percent. His strategic vision and ability to build and develop teams from the ground up have been key factors in the Milliman's development from a valuation of $30 million to its current standing.

From 2019 to 2022, Mr. Pedersen served as the manager of account executives in the Greater Seattle Area. In this capacity, he honed his skills in account management and executive-level relationship building, further solidifying his expertise in health care data analytics across the payer and health plan space. His earlier tenure as a sales consultant from 2013 to 2019 honed his skills in managing client relicenses and strategic account management.

Before joining Milliman MedInsight, Mr. Pedersen gained valuable experience at MCG Health (formerly Milliman Care Guidelines) where he held various roles. As a sales executive from 2012 to 2013 and an account manager and business analyst from 2010 to 2012, he developed a keen understanding of claims aggregation and data processing. He began his career as a senior sales assistant in 2009, during which he first demonstrated his aptitude for identifying growth opportunities and general business acumen.

Mr. Pedersen's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in management from Western Washington University, completed in 2009. His educational endeavors have played a key role in his ability to build trust with clients, understand their challenges and provide effective solutions — qualities that have significantly contributed to his success as an account management consultant.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to community service, Mr. Pedersen has served as an event manager for annual charity occasions organized by the American Cancer Society since 2020. Outside of his professional life, he is happily married and enjoys playing golf and traveling in his spare time.
