Additionally, he oversees special operations, including managing off-road rescue vehicles and a Medical Casualty Response Unit equipped for mass casualty incidents. Mr. Conboy's expertise in swiftly recognizing and treating critically ill and injured patients has been widely praised.

Initially, Mr. Conboy spent 25 years as a fireman in Dumont, New Jersey, where he grew up. Despite having no initial interest in becoming an emergency medical technician or paramedic, he eventually felt a calling to help when the community needed more responders for ambulance calls. Accepting the challenge, Mr. Conboy transitioned into EMS, where he found his true calling and made significant contributions.

Mr. Conboy's educational background includes completing the paramedic program at Saint Vincent's Paramedic Program in Manhattan in 2001 after graduating from Dumont High School. Active in his community, he most notably dedicated 20 years as a volunteer firefighter in Dumont and 15 years with the Ambulance Corps. These roles allowed him to develop strong relationships with senior EMS professionals. Mr. Conboy is also affiliated with the American Heart Association, further exemplifying his commitment to public service.

Throughout his career, Mr. Conboy has received numerous accolades for his contributions to EMS. In 2024, the New Jersey Office of Emergency Medical Services honored him as New Jersey Paramedic of the Year. This recognition stands out among many achievements. Mr. Conboy has also been awarded the Life Saving Award, the 200 Club Award, and Firehouse Magazine's National Publication Lifestyle Award.
