A distinguished health care administration executive, Ms. Gravalese has been the vice president at Baptist Health South Florida since 2021. In this role, she oversees an extensive ambulatory care network, managing over 200 providers across 55 clinics in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Her responsibilities encompass supporting the ambulatory portion of three hospitals within the system, with approximately 400 plus beds, ensuring the seamless integration of care between inpatient and outpatient services. Ms. Gravalese's leadership is characterized by her commitment to delivering exceptional quality care, particularly to the predominantly aging patient population in South Florida.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Gravalese held significant roles at HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group in Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She served as assistant division vice president for three years and as senior executive operations/division director of operations for ten years. During her tenure at HCA, she managed a larger portfolio of 165 clinics, which required a more hands-on approach due to the organization's size. Her experience at HCA honed her skills in efficient resource & practice management and strategic oversight, which she now applies in her role at Baptist Health South Florida.

Ms. Gravalese's career also includes entrepreneurial ventures as the former owner and operator of an urgent care center. Additionally, she has held executive positions, including chief executive officer and chief operating officer at a biotech company, and contributed to the North Broward Hospital District, now known as Broward Health. Her diverse professional background is complemented by her authorship and membership in industry-related organizations like the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives.

Ms. Gravalese holds a Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University, completed in 2012. She earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a minor in health promotion and disease prevention from Michigan State University in 2002. Further enhancing her leadership capabilities, she completed the Leadership for Senior Executives Program at Harvard University in 2018. These academic achievements have been instrumental in her success, providing a strong foundation for her roles in health care administration.

Ms. Gravalese is deeply involved in civic activities, dedicating time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Archdiocese of Miami. She actively participates with a Broward County organization addressing homelessness and supports the American Cancer Society. Her commitment to community service is reflected in her efforts to build homes for families in need and address critical social issues.

Ms. Gravalese's contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Miami by Women We Admire in 2025 and receiving the International Women's Award from the International Association of Women in 2020. Similarly, she received the Thomas Dolan Healthcare Scholarship and is Harvard Business Certified. She co-authored "The Diversity in Humanity: A New Vision for Creating Harmony in the Workplace," which became an Amazon No.1 Best Seller in 2023.

In her personal life, Ms. Gravalese enjoys practicing yoga and pilates, watching sports, playing golf, running and playing beach volleyball. Looking ahead, she plans to remain engaged in health care sustainably while pursuing a secondary doctorate with aspirations to become a professor in health care administration and policy. Her goal is to educate future health care leaders by sharing her unique blend of frontline leadership experience and academic insight gained from managing emergency departments and her leadership during critical events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
