Before her tenure at Cisco, Ms. Stockwell honed her expertise at BMC Software, where she served as senior manager of solutions marketing management from 2019 to 2021. Her strategic acumen was previously demonstrated during her tenure as the chief of staff to the head of strategic marketing and thought leadership at BMC Software from 2018 to 2019. Earlier, Ms. Stockwell served as the head of marketing at CustomerCentric Selling for 10 years, beginning in 2008, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company's marketing strategies.

Ms. Stockwell's career trajectory also included significant contributions as the senior director of marketing communications at PGi between 2006 and 2008 and as a senior marketing program manager at BMC Software from 2003 to 2006. Among other noteworthy opportunities, she worked as a senior staff specialist in e-business development at WorldCom from 1999 to 2003. Before embarking on her corporate journey, Ms. Stockwell was a professional dancer with the Academy Dance Company, where she performed as a principal dancer under the mentorship of prima ballerina Anne Burton Avery.

Ms. Stockwell embarked on her educational career at the University of Georgia in 1994 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating cum laude from Kennesaw State University in 1999. She continued her studies at the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, where she graduated cum laude with a Master of Business Administration in December 2000. Ms. Stockwell's commitment to continuous learning is evident through her numerous certifications, including the adaptive strategic execution program from Duke University and various certifications from HubSpot Academy and Google.

Ms. Stockwell's dedication to giving back is reflected in her involvement with industry-related organizations such as Women in Technology and the Women of Cisco groups.
