He then returned to political service as the campaign manager for Congressman Seth Moulton's reelection campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives. Following that, in 2020, Mr. Emerson ran the Voter Contact Program for Elizabeth Warren for President in the early primary state of South Carolina. He later became the Get Out the Vote director for the Joe Biden for President campaign in the critical swing state of Ohio.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Emerson served as a consultant advocating for Avaaz from 2021 to 2022. During his tenure, he was pivotal in the passage of the Digital Services Act within the European Union, a significant achievement that underscores his commitment to social media reform and counter-disinformation efforts. His work involved grassroots lobbying, organizing protests and maintaining direct communication with lawmakers to emphasize the need for big tech regulations.

As the head of client success at Universe Digital Inc. since 2022, he has been instrumental in revolutionizing the company's client training and support. This tech startup focuses on empowering and mobilizing campaigns, especially down-ballot and local races, with tools to efficiently reach voters and manage voter files, volunteers and websites. Mr. Emerson's primary responsibilities include assisting clients in utilizing tools to achieve their objectives and troubleshooting any issues that arise, guiding product development, and creating department-wide strategies to best serve Universe's clients. Over the past two years, his expertise in political strategy and engagement has led the company to exceptional client success metrics and assisted many campaigns in their efforts to win.

Academically, Mr. Emerson holds a bachelor's degree in history from Louisiana State University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and completed a Learn SQL course through Codecademy in 2022. Beyond his education, he attributes his success to his ability to remain calm under pressure, problem-solve and adapt to the best course of action.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Emerson is actively involved with civic work. In 2023, he founded People Power and Light, a community-focused environmental engagement non-profit organization in the River Parishes, Louisiana, and has served as board co-chair since. In his personal life, he enjoys playing and watching soccer, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
