Affected by his strokes, he was told by physicians that he would never walk or talk again. Mr. Beaty spent the next 10 years teaching himself to speak and walk again. He has overcome these challenges and runs a successful real estate firm and serves on many boards, including City Council of McAlester, Oklahoma.

In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Beaty has been granted the Best of 2025 Local Real Estate Agency and Clients of the Year from the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. Outside his professional work, he serves civically on the board of directors for Compassion365 and Dream City Church.

On a personal level, Mr. Beaty deeply values his family. Together with his wife, who oversees the residency program as director of graduate medical education at their hospital, they have built a blended family with seven children and 12 grandchildren.
