Having served as a business analyst and NetSuite administrator at Handy Hawkindot since 2013, he has been instrumental in observing and enhancing business processes. His role involves generating reports, assessing process efficiency and configuring NetSuite to align with current and new business strategies.

Within this time, in 2023, he briefly held the position of director of information technology and NetSuite administrator at Tool Country Inc. From 2020 to 2022, Mr. Hawkins was a NetSuite administrator at Spyderco and held the same position the preceding year at AlsoEnergy. He also contributed for the five years prior as a NetSuite consultant, senior delivery consultant and technical project manager.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hawkins held positions as a project manager at ND SatCom from 2008 to 2009 and as a program manager at Tempest Telecom Solutions in 2008.

Mr. Hawkins's career also includes significant roles outside of the private sector, serving as a civilian contractor from 2004 to 2008. He lived in Iraq during this time, two years as program manager for Iraq at Leonie Industries where he led an anti-terrorist campaign with the Army's psychological warfare unit, an atmospherics gathering network and multiple smaller programs assisting the U.S. government, and two years as facilities and logistics support manager at MCI Corporation. This four-year period laid the foundation for his technical acumen and was both challenging and rewarding for Mr. Hawkins as he navigated the complexities of military operations without prior combat training. His resourcefulness was evident when he facilitated communication for soldiers during holidays by setting up telecommunication trailers so that they could call home.

Acting as a basis for his professional expertise, Mr. Hawkins's academic background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in information technology from the University of Phoenix, completed in 2003. He also holds an Associate of Arts in communication and media studies from The Art Center Design College in Albuquerque, earned in 1999.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hawkins has been involved with the Air National Guard, contributing his expertise to national defense efforts. His personal life is also enriched by his love for skiing, playing golf and cycling.

Mr. Hawkins has recently made meaningful progress in therapy, gaining insight into how his past influences his present. This self-discovery led him to begin writing his autobiography. Following a pivotal breakthrough, his therapist recommended the book "What Happened to You?" by Oprah Winfrey and Bruce D. Perry, which provided clarity and direction for his own work. He plans to title his book "What Happened to Jason Hawkins," positioning it as a personal response that explores the themes and insights from Oprah's book to explain his own journey and development. He is committed to completing this book within the next year.

Mr. Hawkins attributes much of his success to the influence of his grandfather and two aunts, who instilled resilience and determination in him. His grandfather's legacy as a World War II veteran has been particularly inspiring. With a positive mindset and a commitment to overcoming challenges, Mr. Hawkins continues to make significant contributions to his field while pursuing personal growth and community service.
