He played a pivotal role in enhancing the company's IT project management processes and applications implementations during his tenure. Prior to McDermott, he served as an engagement manager at Tata Consultancy Services from 2016 to 2017, managing client relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Vijh was an IM program manager at GE Oil & Gas from 2013 to 2016, an application architect at GE Aviation between 2012 and 2013, and an Oracle lead technologist with GE Healthcare from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, he held the title of systems analyst at Enrich IT Inc. between 2007 and 2009, and computer programmer at Saras America Inc., dating back to 2005.

Mr. Vijh's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics engineering from Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering in Nagpur, India in 2001 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, completed in 2004. His Master's thesis was titled 'Acoustics Wave Based Biosensors'. Mr. Vijh has numerous journal and conference publications in his name also. These educational achievements have provided him with a solid technical foundation that has been crucial throughout his career.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Vijh has received several certifications that underscore his commitment to professional development and leadership excellence. These include Registered Product Owner @Scale by Scrum Inc., Registered Scrum Master and Registered Product Owner by Scrum Inc., SAFe 6 Lean Portfolio Manager from Scaled Agile Inc., certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, certified Design Thinking for Innovation and Certified Product Innovation Associate by Spark engine. Mr. Vijh has also earned numerous LinkedIn certifications focused on digital leadership and transformation. Throughout his journey, he has emphasized the importance of continuous learning.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Vijh is actively involved in professional and civic activities. He is a prominent member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He also engages with Habitat for Humanity International and participates in breast cancer awareness walks in Houston. As an author of published articles, Mr. Vijh shares his insights and knowledge with a broader audience.

Mr. Vijh's family life is enriched by his wife Ruchi, daughter Arya and their rescued Shih Tzu named Peppa.
