Ms. Asahara's career began at IBM, where she contributed as a sales representative from 2004 to 2012. This initial experience was crucial when she transitioned into bookkeeping after moving from Japan to California. While focusing on family responsibilities, she discovered her passion for bookkeeping when she took on administrative tasks for her husband's company.

Serving as a foundation for her achievements, Ms. Asahara earned a Bachelor of Laws from Keio University in Japan in 2004. Reflecting on her career since, she attributes much of her success to actively contributing to the community before seeking referrals, ensuring that her reputation precedes her in professional circles. In addition to her professional achievements, she is actively involved in civic organizations, such as the Japan Business Association of Southern California where she has volunteered since 2024.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Asahara enjoys camping with her family, including her two children. Looking ahead in her career, she aims to expand Toki Bookkeeping by increasing both her client base and workforce across California, Mexico and Japan.
