Mr. Esparza's journey with GE began in 2006 as a performance engineer at GE Power, where he honed his technical skills and developed a keen understanding of customer needs. In 2010, he transitioned to the role of project engineer for performance testing before spending the next three years as a manager of performance engineering at GE Gas Power Services in the Asia Pacific region, where he successfully led teams and projects across multiple countries.

In 2014, Mr. Esparza returned to Mexico to lead the performance engineering team in Latin America, where he continued to excel in the integration of teams and customer service. His leadership capabilities were further recognized when he was accepted to GE's Accelerated Leadership Program (XLP) in 2018. In the program, Mr. Esparza took different assignments in Mexico and the USA in a span of three-and-a-half years starting with a sales and business growth role followed by leading the Latin America Gas Power Services engineering team and concluded with leading engineering programs in GE Vernova's Greenville, SC facility, a major hub for gas turbine engineering and manufacturing. Mr. Esparza offboarded the program in 2021 to his current role.

Mr. Esparza's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in mechatronic engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, completed in 2006 in Mexico. Additionally, he has pursued certifications in business leadership, strategy and culture, which have further enhanced his capabilities in navigating the energy markets landscape.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Esparza attributes his success to his discipline, work ethic and commitment to customer success. His openness and vulnerability have set him apart as a leader who values reciprocal relationships with his team and GE Vernova. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is actively involved in civic organizations, volunteering with employee resource groups in Atlanta related to his Hispanic heritage and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
