Ms. Kumarachandran's earlier career included her role as an associate attorney at Hartel, Kane, DeSantis & Howie in Hanover, Maryland, from 2015 to 2018. Her journey in the legal field also included her position as an attorney at JM Blattner in Towson in 2015. Earlier, Ms. Kumarachandran gained invaluable experience as a legal assistant at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Baltimore in 2013 and as a law clerk at the Legal Aid Bureau Inc. from 2011 to 2012.
In preparation for her future in law, Ms. Kumarachandran's academic background included earning a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics with a focus on Asian American studies from the University of Maryland in 2009. She then achieved a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore in 2012, where she also obtained a mediation certificate that has been pivotal in her approach to resolving family disputes amicably.
