In addition to her role at Enrichment Alternatives, Ms. Done has served as a speech-language pathologist at the Development Center of the Ozarks since 2004. Prior to these positions, she was the owner and president of NuPerspectives from 1999 to 2004, where she honed her skills in consulting on auditory processing and supporting international businesses.

Ms. Done's career began with a focus on helping others, inspired by her desire to teach English to international students and assist them with reading. This passion led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in audiology and speech language pathology from San José State University, graduating in 1988. She continued her education at the same institution, earning a Master of Arts in audiology and speech language pathology. Her academic background laid the foundation for her success, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex communication disorders.

Throughout her career, Ms. Done has been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the International Dyslexia Association. Her commitment extends beyond professional circles, with the founding of Families Homeschooling Children with Special Needs, an inactive nonprofit organization that supported parents navigating educational challenges. Her further civic activities include supporting various nonprofit agencies in the Springfield area and participating in the Pediatric Round Table for Small Business Owners.
