Since 2022, he has served as the director of global IT support and services at Cisco, where he has been instrumental in scaling and integrating the Meraki IT team into Cisco's broader operations. His efforts have expanded support from 4,000 Meraki users to over 80,000 Cisco employees worldwide. With his trademark high standards and passion for customer service, he is dedicated to delivering excellence in his own work and supporting high achievement throughout his team.

Prior to his tenure at Cisco, Mr. Ly held the position of senior manager of corporate information technology at Zoom Video Communications from 2019 to 2022. During this period, he achieved perhaps his most notable career accomplishment: maintaining uninterrupted service for Zoom throughout the pandemic, a time of unprecedented challenges and uncertainty.

Previously, Mr. Ly served from 2018 to 2019 as a senior technology support manager for tax and global mobility services at PwC, where he managed complex technical support operations and further honed his skills in strategic planning and problem-solving. Before joining PwC, he spent five years as a senior manager of global support and engineering operations at Netgear, where he was recognized with the NETGEAR Visionary Award in 2010 for his innovative contributions. From 2005 to 2013, he was a manager of L3 technical support engineering at Netgear, where he developed critical technical expertise. And early in his career, he worked as a manager of field application engineering at SOHOware, gaining valuable experience in customer-focused technical solutions.

Academically, Mr. Ly holds a Master of Business Administration with High Honors from Golden Gate University, earned in 2010, where he was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. He also holds a bachelor's degree in human development and psychology from the University of California, Davis, completed in 1999. His education has been complemented by numerous certifications including AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty and ITIL Foundations v4 among others obtained in 2023.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Ly is actively involved in civic organizations such as the Gilroy Community Emergency Response Team, and he served as a Type 1 firefighter and an EMT-B with CDF/CalFire from 2000 to 2005. In his personal life, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
