Before ascending to his current role, Mr. Laurendeau served as a general manager at Amazon from 2016 to 2020. In this capacity, he demonstrated his ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations. His journey with Amazon began in 2010 as an area manager, followed by roles as an operations manager from 2012 to 2014 and a senior operations manager from 2014 to 2016. Each position allowed him to cultivate his expertise in operations leadership, a field in which he is now recognized as an expert.

Mr. Laurendeau's professional journey is deeply rooted in his military service. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army from 2003 to 2010, achieving the rank of captain. During his active duty, he completed a tour in Baghdad, Iraq, earning a Bronze Star Medal and several commendation awards for his exemplary service. Following active duty, he continued his military involvement as a company commander in the United States Army Reserve until 2013.

Mr. Laurendeau's academic background laid the foundation for his successful career. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Norwich University in 2006. His education included the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps, military science and operations coursework, which equipped him with the leadership skills necessary for both his military and civilian careers.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Laurendeau is actively involved in civic organizations. He serves as an assistant scout master and coaches a local hockey team, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement and youth development. His dedication to these roles reflects his passion for mentoring future generations.

Mr. Laurendeau attributes much of his success to the diverse range of leaders he has worked with throughout his career and his willingness to embrace challenges, including relocating internationally for career opportunities and family reasons.
