BARGERSVILLE, IN, June 30, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dominique Gadson, PhD, MSW, CSAYC, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Gadson is the visionary founder and chief executive officer of Gadson Blueprint Academy, a national training and consulting institute established in 2017 to disrupt cycles of generational harm and rebuild systems through trauma-informed education, leadership development and cultural accountability. Her work equips professionals, families and institutions with practical tools to repair, reimagine and lead with purpose, placing integrity and healing at the forefront of systemic change. "I don't just break cycles—I build new systems where healing becomes legacy, and leadership becomes liberation," she says.
Dr. Gadson's work not only addresses trauma and leadership but also emphasizes social-emotional intelligence, dignity in human interaction and the restoration of cultural grace through etiquette and mannerisms in social environments. Grounded in both evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches, her academy encourages participants to reclaim civility and self-awareness as tools for healing, especially in communities where generational harm has eroded traditional values of mutual respect, posture and interpersonal engagement.
Dr. Gadson also serves as chief operating officer of New Generational Blueprint, a community-based service initiative launched under Gadson Blueprint Academy. This extension of her work deepens access to trauma-informed care, resource navigation and legacy-focused support for youth, families and underserved populations in grassroots settings.
In addition to leading her academy, Dr. Gadson provides psychotherapy services under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker. Her clinical practice specializes in trauma recovery, family restoration and court-involved youth. Through direct contracting with agencies such as the Department of Child Services, she facilitates trauma-informed interventions, wraparound care and culturally responsive psychoeducation for foster children and their families. She is a credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician, certified through the Indiana Association for Juvenile Sex Offender Practitioners, with extensive expertise in working with high-risk and underserved youth.
Dr. Gadson's military service as a U.S. Army human resources sergeant from 2012 to 2017 laid the foundation for her justice-centered leadership style. At the brigade level, she managed sensitive personnel operations, oversaw soldier readiness and advocated for service member welfare with unwavering integrity. During this time, she gained advanced skills in emotional regulation, adaptive leadership and psychological readiness, capacities that now form a cornerstone of her trauma-informed and healing-centered frameworks. These experiences deeply inform her trauma-informed systems work, especially with veterans, military families and marginalized populations navigating institutional pressure and intergenerational pain.
Dr. Gadson's academic background is equally remarkable. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from American Military University in 2016, followed by a Master of Social Work with a specialization in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) from Simmons University in 2019. She then completed a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D. in human and social services with a concentration in conflict management and negotiation at Walden University in 2022 and 2025, respectively. Her doctoral research examined sexual risk messaging directed at young Black women on social media, an inquiry that merged digital advocacy with public health equity and narrative justice.
Dr. Gadson is currently pursuing a Master of Public Affairs at Indiana University Indianapolis, focusing on law and public policy to further expand her influence on trauma-informed legislation, institutional accountability and equitable service delivery.
As of July 2025, Dr. Gadson serves as a board member of Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana (MHANI), supporting state-level efforts in mental health equity, culturally responsive programming and systems reform through community-rooted engagement.
A servant-leader by nature, Dr. Gadson has remained committed to community service since 2011. While in active military service, she volunteered with soldier readiness groups and youth outreach initiatives. As a military spouse, she has led family mentorship programs, assisted with reintegration resources and deployment readiness for families, and advocated for military-connected children. At New Beginnings Fellowship Church, she actively serves in business ministry, where she collaborates with other professionals and entrepreneurs to foster growth, learning and mutual support. She also serves in the Homeless Ministry Outreach and College Connection Ministry, ensuring students and unhoused individuals alike receive support, encouragement and connection as they navigate new seasons of life. From writing letters and hosting gatherings to delivering resources and prayer, her mission is clear: no one should feel forgotten.
Dr. Gadson's professional credentials include certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, life purpose coaching, parent instruction through the AJ Novick Group, TF-CBT, etiquette and manners coaching, and alcohol and addiction counseling (CTAA). She continues to build capacity across disciplines by training clinicians, educators and leaders in trauma literacy and ethical transformation.
Looking ahead, Dr. Gadson is preparing to officially launch her personal movement, Legacy Method™—a healing-centered initiative focused on trauma-informed policy reform, restorative leadership and legacy-based wellness. Through her movement, upcoming book and national speaking platform, she aims to create a trauma-informed infrastructure across schools, government agencies and community institutions. "My vision is to shift this country from reactive systems to restorative ecosystems—where dignity is policy, healing is a human right, and leadership is measured by how deeply we care, not how loudly we command," she concludes.
