Before launching Immerse Studio, Mr. MacLeod served as an AV engineer for events at Netflix from 2021 to 2024. During this time, he honed his skills in strategic planning and execution, contributing to high-profile events that demanded precision and creativity. Mr. MacLeod's expertise in this area was also recognized when he was interviewed for a feature in VoyageLA magazine, highlighting his contributions to the field.

Between 2019 and 2020, Mr. MacLeod was the production and technical services manager at h Club Los Angeles. In this capacity, he managed complex audiovisual setups and ensured seamless integration of technology into various productions. Mr. MacLeod also excelled as a producer and visual artist at Optexture from 2006 to 2019, where he developed a reputation for creating visually stunning music videos for prominent rap artists and other stars.

Earlier in his career, Mr. MacLeod worked as a production and AV manager at NeueHouse Hollywood, beginning in 2018, and as a technical producer at Socialive Inc., starting in 2017. These roles allowed him to refine his technical skills and expand his network within the industry.

Mr. MacLeod holds a Bachelor of Science from the New England Institute of Art in 2009 and a master's degree in information technology with a focus on digital media arts and instructional design from Harvard Extension School since 2016. These academic achievements have provided him with a solid foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of his field. Mr. MacLeod's dedication to continuous learning has also been evident through his certifications as an AV technologist from AVIXA, Vectorworks core certification from Vectorworks, and Dante certification, levels one and two, from Audinate.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. MacLeod is actively involved in civic organizations. He has volunteered with the American Red Cross since 2019 and previously contributed his time to serving on the board of directors for Firefly Arts Collective, as well as through his work with The Cinefamily.
