Before accepting her current appointment, Ms. Quintana served as a care manager at Belong Health from 2021 to 2024. In this capacity, she collaborated with regional insurance companies to manage a medically complex population under their "D-SNP products," specifically targeting the Medicare and Medicaid population who were duly eligible. As the company expanded its offerings, Ms. Quintana became the first person to accept a position for their ACO product in New York State, working directly with primary care practices to support their Medicare "Fee-for-service population.

From 2016 to 2021, Ms. Quintana thrived as a nurse manager at North Shore University Hospital in the hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant unit, overseeing two units and handling assessing, planning and implementing patient care. Ms. Quintana's signature leadership methods contributed meaningfully to the units, which consistently ranked in the 85th to 99th percentile on the HCAHPS survey despite challenges such as extended patient stays and low response rates.

Before becoming a nurse manager, Ms. Quintana was an assistant nurse manager at North Shore University Hospital from 2012 to 2016. In this role, she provided off shift coverage and focused on supporting staff across all shifts. Her efforts ensured that all units were adequately staffed and maintained a positive culture. She began her career as a registered nurse at North Shore University Hospital in 2007, and Ms. Quintana's dedication to nursing excellence is reflected in her active membership in the American Nurses Association.

Exceptional academic credentials further define Ms. Quintana's profile. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Ithaca College in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Russell Sage College in 2007. She also pursued graduate studies and now holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, which she finished in 2018. Ms. Quintana has also secured industry certifications including the registered nurse designation from New York State, basic life support for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association, certified home health aide credentials and master-level training in Reiki.

She attributes her advancement thus far to resilience and hard work, as well as her parents' foundational example and her husband's support and encouragement. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Quintana cherishes spending time with her family, including two daughters, and she aims to launch a private Reiki practice to help bridge the gap between energy healing and Western medicine within her nursing role.
