He obtained an Associate of Arts in general studies from Hutchinson Community College in 1986, a Bachelor of Arts in radio and television broadcasting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1992, and a Master of Arts in public relations from Webster University in 2011. Mr. Dangerfield's advanced degree equipped him with advanced skills in strategic communication.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Dangerfield is actively involved in civic activities, including serving food at a local homeless shelter in Tacoma, Washington, where he demonstrates his commitment to community service.
Mr. Dangerfield's most notable professional achievement was serving as a commander at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where he was responsible for getting over 60 men into potential combat, a task he accomplished with the support of his team. This achievement was underscored with the Draper Armor Leadership Award at Fort Lewis, recognizing his exceptional leadership in commanding a company that was acknowledged as the best on the West Coast. Mr. Dangerfield's military achievements were also honored with several other prestigious accolades, including a Legion of Merit and a Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq.
