From 2013 to 2018, Ms. Cao held the title of founder and president at MingTech Petro LLC, where she initially laid the groundwork for her current responsibilities. Her earlier career includes a significant tenure as a senior petroleum economist at Ryder Scott Company from 2006 to 2013. In this capacity, Ms. Cao refined her skills in data management, economic evaluation and consulting, further solidifying her reputation as an expert in the industry.

Ms. Cao's career began with roles at CNOOC Tianjin, where she served as an economic evaluation supervisor from 2004 to 2006 and as a project economist and assistant cost engineer at the CNOOC Research Center from 1997 to 2001. These positions provided her with invaluable insights into the technical and economic aspects of petroleum projects, setting the stage for her future achievements.

With over 25 years of global experience, Ms. Cao has worked across the full lifecycle of upstream oil and gas development, from offshore exploration to onshore transportation pipeline evaluation. She has played a critical role in reserves assessment for M&A and SEC filings, field performance analysis and corporate strategy planning. Her technical acumen includes advanced economic modeling using tools like Excel, PHDWin, Aries, PEEP and Crystal Ball, as well as proficiency in data analytics through SAS, and Access. Notably, Ms. Cao has designed and audited production sharing and fiscal models for projects in over 30 countries, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams worldwide.

Prior to starting her career, Ms. Cao pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and operations from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, graduating in 1997. She later obtained a Master of Science in resource and applied economics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which she completed in 2003. In addition to her academic background, Ms. Cao attributes her success to her dedication and consistent effort, which have been fundamental to achieving her current status.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Cao is actively involved in civic initiatives.
