FREMONT, CA, July 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anita Neuman has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Individuals profiled are chosen based on their current reference value, including position, accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in their field.

With over three decades of experience in health care and technology, Ms. Neuman currently serves as a project manager in portfolio operations at Abbott Diabetes Care in Alameda, California. In this role, she reviews new project requests, leads cross-functional teams, and oversees a project intake committee. She also takes on special projects like designing and implementing an onboarding program for new PMO employees. Her expertise spans medical device manufacturing, business process improvement, and quality systems. Her current position at Abbott reflects a thoughtful evolution in her professional journey, aligning with her desire to contribute meaningfully while embracing a new phase of engagement.

Previously, Ms. Neuman held several leadership roles at Boston Scientific Corporation. As leader of the Project Management Office from 2015 to 2023, she oversaw numerous production transfers to lower-cost locations. One of her most impactful projects was launching the company's first commercial product line in China, which involved transitioning manufacturing from California to Shanghai during the COVID-19 pandemic—a complex initiative she found deeply rewarding to lead. Earlier, she developed a regulatory strategy for a factory relocation that saved the company over $10 million, earning her team the prestigious Winning Spirit Award. She also served as senior manager of quality compliance systems from 2008 to 2015 and as director of quality assurance from 1998 to 2008.

Ms. Neuman's career was shaped by mentors who recognized her potential and guided her through pivotal transitions. In the late 1970s, a friend inspired her to enroll in an automotive technology program—one of only two women in her cohort. She worked as a mechanic for eight years while pursuing her education. Later, on the recommendation of Professor Dr. Miller, she joined Lockheed Missiles and Space Systems, where Dr. Tom Little encouraged her to explore quality assurance. This led to a successful transition into the medical device industry. Connections with Liz Hammack and John Lippert helped her secure key roles at Advanced Cardiovascular Systems and Target Therapeutics, respectively. She also acknowledges the support of Warren White, Jason Lester, Skip Hellewell, and Dr. Judith E. Schmidt.

Grateful for the mentorship she received, Ms. Neuman is committed to paying it forward. She actively supports and guides emerging professionals, believing that mentorship is essential early in one's career and a responsibility for those with experience to share.

Ms. Neuman holds a Master of Science in quality assurance and a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from San José State University, as well as an Associate of Arts in automotive technology from De Anza Community College. She attributes her success to a lifelong commitment to learning and a passion for inspiring others.

She is certified in project management by the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential from the Project Management Institute. She also earned the quality manager and certified quality engineer designations from the American Society for Quality.

An active member of the Project Management Institute since 2012, Ms. Neuman participates in community service events such as food packing with Second Harvest.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, waterskiing, camping, and spending time with her daughter. Looking ahead, she plans to continue contributing at Abbott Diabetes Care while exploring more of the United States. Above all, she values meaningful connections and strives to leave a positive impact on those around her.
