Earlier in her career, Ms. Rossi made significant contributions as the creative marketing director for the United States and Latin America at R&M Creative Services between 2007 and 2014. Her language skills were instrumental during her time as a bilingual editor and marketing manager at La Isla from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, she held the position of director for the United States and Latin America at SnapLinks Communications from 2001 until 2007, developing strategic communication plans for diverse markets, while opening and managing 5 offices in Latin America.
Prior to these positions, Ms. Rossi served as the director and editor at Publicidad & Comerciales Magazine under PRODU between 1997 and 2001, as a product manager at Bavaria from 1995 to 1997, and as a senior creative director at Bates Advertising Worldwide in 1996. She gained foundational experience in advertising as a creative group director at FCB Global from 1993 until 1995, as a creative group director and copywriter at McCann Worldgroup between 1989 and 1993, and as a junior creative copywriter at Ogilvy from 1988 to 1989.
Laying the groundwork for Ms. Rossi's professional accomplishments was her educational background, which began with a bachelor's degree in advertising from Universidad Católica de Manizales in Colombia. She subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing from the University of Houston, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Politécnico Grancolombiano. Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident through completed coursework in French language and literature at Alliance Française de Toulouse, in fiction writing at Miami Dade College and in screenwriting at Writers Boot Camp, in Los Angeles. This dedication to education has been a cornerstone of her success, enabling her to adapt quickly to new challenges and technologies.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Rossi is deeply involved with nonprofit organizations such as Public Art Reston and as the Treasurer of the Friends of Cathy Hudgins Community Center at Southgate. Her efforts with Public Art Reston are particularly noteworthy; she spearheaded a successful campaign that increased participation in ChalkFest through targeted social media outreach and bilingual press releases. This initiative not only sold out event spots but also significantly boosted fundraising efforts for the organization.
Beyond her primary endeavors, Ms. Rossi is an award-winning author of "Wally and the Bully Lion" and has received accolades such as a CLIO Award and recognition from the New York Festivals.
